About
David Village is professor of Physical Therapy at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Mich., and assistant dean in the School of Health Professions. He joined the Andrews faculty in 1995. Born in Trenton, MI, David graduated from Andrews University with a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Physiology in 1987 and a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1988. He received a Doctor of Health Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine, St. Augustine, Florida, in 2005. The title of his dissertation is: "The qualities of service-learning in physical therapist education."
David Village is a Board Certified Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and teaches courses in general medicine and geriatrics. David conducts research in fall prevention of older adults and service-learning.
