Biography
Mrs. Weithers is an Assistant Professor at Andrews University. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Goshen College in 2016, Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Andrews University in 2011 and Associate in Applied Sciences—Nursing degree from Kingsborough Community College— City University of New York in 1992. She has over 20 years’ experience as a Critical Care nurse. Additionally, her clinical experiences include Emergency Room/Trauma, Home Care, and Community Health Nursing. In addition to her duties as an assistant professor, she also serves as the Director of Clinical Education and Andrews University Student Nurses Association sponsor.
Mrs. Weithers teaches “Fundamentals of Nursing—Clinicals ", “Medical Surgical I”, “Medical Surgical II”, “The Developing Child—Clinicals”, “Senior Nursing Internship”, “Intercultural Mission Service in Nursing—Study Tour” and “Critical Care Nursing”.
Mrs. Weithers is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
