About

Stefanie teaches courses in art history and is the curriculum developer for the BA in Art History within the VAD department. She also teaches Printmaking I and other occasional studio courses. Born in Chattanooga, TN, she grew up in Calhoun, GA and is a diehard Atlanta Braves fan. Stefanie received her teaching certification in art at Berry College in Rome, GA and then her MAEd in Art Education at GA State University. She taught 7th and 8th grade for four years at John L Coble Elementary School and then went on to teach for two years at GA-Cumberland Academy where she taught world history and world literature. She also started art programs at both Coble Elementary and GCA, where she took students on two art tours to Spain and Italy.
