About

Trevor O’Reggio is professor of Church History, Discipleship and Religious Education at the Seventh - day Adventist Seminary of Andrews University. Since being at the seminary, he has served as director of the MA in Pastoral Ministry and Continuing Education from 2001-2003 and director of the MA in religion from 2003-2010.
Originally from the beautiful island of Jamaica, he began his college education at the former West Indies College, now Northern Caribbean University. He obtained his BA In theology from Walla Walla College, now Walla Walla University in 1979, and a M.Div. degree from Andrews University in 1985. After spending 15 years in pastoral ministry, he earned an MA and PhD in history from the University of Chicago in 1997 and a DMin specializing in Marriage and Family from Gordon-Conwell Seminary in 2006.
He has authored several books and journal articles and given seminars and lectures all over the world. He teaches primarily Reformation history, American religious history and in the area of Marriage and Family life. He is married to the beautiful Anna Maria, a practicing pediatrician. They are the parents of three fantastic children, Jonathan, Elena Maria and Rachel.
Trevor loves the outdoors and enjoys cycling, walking and swimming.
