Adventism in Quebec: The Dynamics of Rural Church Growth, 1830-1910

Research output: Book/ReportBook

Abstract

The Eastern Townships of Quebec are, by any standard, a small corner of the world. The Adventist movement in that small corner is itself now only a "small corner" of Protestantism in Quebec. Yet the history of the movement in that region is, in many ways, writ large across the experience of many Protestant denominations in rural North America in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
