Abstract

As part of the celebration of the 500^th anniversary of the Reformation, we decided to highlight the James White Library’s copy of Luther’s 1534 Bible, the role of Chester Gibson in donating the Bible to Andrews, and the story of Paul Wurker, who collected this particular Bible and the other Bibles which we are calling the Wurker-Gibson Bible Collection.
