Relaxation and Polarization Effects in Valence Photodetachment of the Negative Chloride Ion

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The effects of core relaxation and polarization in the photodetachment process was studied for Cl in the relativistic random-phase approximation (RRPA). The RRPA modified to include relaxation effects, and a new modification of the RRPA that approximately included both core relaxation and polarization were employed.
